Executive Summary RSI LLC is a US-based company and the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect
We may collect:
- Information you send us directly, such as your name, work email, company and anything included in an email or other inquiry.
- Brief Builder information if you choose to send a brief. This includes the generated brief, your name, work email and company. Depending on the type of help selected, you may also provide research-scope information such as relevant industries, audiences or markets and a date or timeframe.
- Limited technical information processed by our hosting, security and delivery services, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages and timestamps.
How Brief Builder handles information
Your unsent answers remain in the browser while the page is open. They are not deliberately stored in cookies, local storage, session storage or WordPress before submission.
If you use Copy brief, your browser copies the generated text to your clipboard at your request.
If you choose Send brief, the generated brief, your contact details and any optional project information you entered are submitted and emailed to the Executive Summary team so that we can respond.
Brief Builder does not create a WordPress post, comment or other content record containing the submission. It uses a short-lived identifier derived from the submitting IP address and email to limit repeated submissions. This normally expires after 15 minutes.
Why we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and discuss potential projects;
- take steps you request before entering into a contract;
- deliver client work;
- protect the website and Brief Builder from spam or misuse; and
- meet legal, accounting or record-keeping obligations where applicable.
Our main legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract and our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and operating a secure website. We use information where required by law when that applies.
Who receives information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be handled by members of the Executive Summary team and by service providers that support our website hosting, email, security, IT and professional services. They should use it only to provide their services to us and protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information where the law requires us to do so.
International processing
Executive Summary RSI LLC is based in the United States. Information sent to us may therefore be received and handled in the United States. Our hosting and email providers may also process information in the locations where they operate.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries while they are being handled and while they remain relevant to reasonable follow-up. If a client engagement begins, relevant correspondence may become part of our business and client records.
Inquiries that do not become client engagements are periodically reviewed and deleted when they are no longer reasonably relevant to follow-up or business record-keeping.
Brief Builder does not retain the submitted brief as a WordPress content record. Its short-lived rate-limit identifier normally expires after 15 minutes. Hosting, security and email providers may retain limited technical or delivery records under their own arrangements.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may have the right to ask us to:
- provide a copy of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete or restrict our use of information; or
- stop certain processing.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights are not absolute and may not apply in every situation.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information.
Our website may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.
